Woods of Norway was established in 2023 by woodcarver Preben Talhaug.

The founder has cultivated an interest in beautiful wood and woodworking for many years, and has spent much of his free time developing very special skills in rustic handmade wood art.

He is self-taught, and has garnered great attention and recognition for his creative design and beautiful form. His repertoire is large, and the techniques used span a wide range.

It all started with the joy of being outdoors and the fascination of nature's many works of art. Then collecting subjects, which were later transformed into many different creations. At the heart of the business is therefore a deep respect for nature and wildlife, and eventually also a passion for good craftsmanship and woodworking.
